Whats up? My name is Reuben Rodriguez. Im 20, and currently a bass performance student at the McNally Smith College of Music. Ive been playing bass for about 6 years now and I absolutely love everything about the instrument and its function in music. All styles, all tempos. Thats right folks ALL STYLES, ALL TEMPOS. Its a creedo I picked up from a musician and friend I respect very much. And I try to learn from it and live by it everyday.I wouldn't say that I have any one particular style that I play, but if I had to loosely describe my playing I would call it funky world music(with influences of jazz). At the moment I don't have a steady group Im playing with, so if you need a bass player and are in the St Paul/Twin Cities area, feel free to drop me an email.Outside of music, Im more of less just another average cat. I love cooking, shopping, reading, hanging out with friends, songwriting, and have an unusual obsession with egg nog, lol. I never perform with shoes on and I never do business over dinner, and thats all there is to me!
