Coming into the world January 21, 1983 , Paul was always the shy type ; silent but always observant . Raised in NDG / Côte-St-Luc, he received a chance to see the world at its worst. Learning about gang life and seeing first hand the struggle of many to become someone and move out of a poor neighbourhood. Still young, his parents decided it was time to take their family of five to the south shore of Montreal.A new world for Paul awaited him. Still a bit shy and with a handful of friends , he found a hobby playing with his dad's old duel tape decks. Driven by a passion for music, he took - more like stole - his brother's cassette tapes and looped certain parts of songs and recordings , unknowingly creating a mixtape. Kids would come to see him to ask for new tapes.By mid - high school, Paul had grown confident , but arrogance had come along with it. Finding himself in constant trouble , he steered away from his passion of music and got right in to the hustle of making money. He had his crew and they called themselves “ABMâ€. Years went on , until one day he found himself in front of a judge and his last chance to turn his life around. Trying to straighten out his life, Paul quickly realized that the real world was a lot harder than crime. Depressed, he turn to the one thing that he knew he was able to do, music .Now fully focused, Paul knew he needed a name. Calling himself “Datkid Câ€, he hustled his way in to the limelight. Making important friends and using his connections to get and create opportunities to be the next best Dj. Almost ten years later , Datkid C is now Dj Kid Credible. His passion for music continues to help him move forward, there no limit to his talent. With his own style of mixing and song selection , he is a real party starter.
