"Louvst" is the typed and spoken pronunciation of a word designed by actor/writer/director Jonathan Blackwell that combines "love" and "lust". It can also signify "lose" or "lost". These four facets of the title are illustrated throughout the film.The film follows two relationships and three single characters. The seven characters interact with each other, but never realize how much they share until the final scene. Live music by Topography and Mosadi Music take the emotion further.Jordan (Havalah Backus) and Lluvia (Paola Guerrero) build mutual respect. However Mel (Eli Moore) and Demian (Michael Klinger), simply entertain themselves. Ran (John Bolles), Miles (Jonathan Blackwell), and Leo (Jeremy England Morris) support.The cast travels through Durham and Raleigh, discovering train travel as a metaphor for their relationships.
