About Me

I live on a small island on the coast of NC. I was raised on a larger island on the coast of NY. I work but that is not who I am. That is what I do. Who I am mostly at this stage of my life is- "Nana". I have three grown daughters. Gretchen, Gwenn and Melody. I also have three son-in-law. Jon, Nick and Chirs. Jenny is my 'other' daughter who recently moved up to PA near Melody and Chris. So, we are offically "empty-nesters". The biggest blessing a mother could have is to know that all of her children are walking in faith and serving Chirst. I am thus blessed. I have seven grandchilren who are my heartbeat.I have a husband whom I have been married to for 34 yrs. He is God fearing and kind and he loves me. My life is sweet. Not without challanges but with God's help..still sweet. I believe that myspace can and should be used as a tool to reach people with the love of Chirst. One friend at a time. My Interests

People in general.Family. My Family and the family that God has grafted into our tree. Grandchildren are my favorite people.I love attending the Creation Festival.And the Purple Door Festival. I like the music but that is not my reason for going. It is more like a family reunion where new family members are introduced each year.I work on the leadership team with the youth at my church (Liberty Chirstian Fellowship). I truly love to see these kids grow in their faith and it's fun. I feel like I am where God planned for me to be at this time in my life.I am also a memeber of the sign-language-dance-creative movement-drama ministry team Selah (see in my friend list). We have been working together for ten years. These women are my closest freinds and I am so thankful to be able to minister with them.

Music:

Cristian rock mostly.Worship music. Presently, my favorite CD is called Glory Revealed. I also like to listen to my brother DiggerT. (check him out on myspace!)I also like Third Day, Jason Upton and a few hundred others.

Movies:

Places in the Heart. The Miracle Worker. Anything that makes me cry.Chronicles of Narnia. The Passion.I love good Chirstmas movies and the Christmas cartoon "Nester the Long Earred Donkey." I am a sucker for sappy stuff.

Television:

Rarely watch more than the weather channel but I do like shows like -Flip this House and Clean Sweep

Books:

The Bible,Hines Feet on High Places, Beverly Lewis. CS Lewis.

Heroes:

My Saviour,My husband, my sons-in-law.
