I'm in a new project now - Discipline Wish with my brother Alan, our longtime friend and brother Will and the rockinest guy I know only as Joe. I'm playing a bass guitar and singing backup vocals. It's been a while since I played a 4 string.My first musical venture was back in 1990, a makeshift band with Alan and Will. I played a Fender bass, will had his Tele, and Alan made pretty much anything work for drums and percussion.It's safe to say this band originated 17 years ago, give or take... I commonly referred to this group as the band that never was. Will's mathematical songwriting has a hypnotic quality that commands attention, with insightful lyrics to drive every track. Alan's drum style is thunderous to say the least. Joe is the classic rock star in every sense, sporting anger management issues, self inflicted razor wounds and tasty guitar licks to bring back the balance.The song Driven on the Discipline Wish page is old and sloppy. We'll be with Jason McEntire the end of April putting together our first batch of material.Stay tuned
