Anything outdoors with an adrenaline rush attached: hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, repelling, ziplines, biking, skydiving, spelunking, etc... Yes, I've done those things, so quit asking...otherwise, would they be an interest?

Genuinely interesting people. Nerds (this implies intelligence). Fellow pirates. Those dedicated to their passions, not because its what they should do or what others expect of them, but because it is their very essence and they thrive upon it. People who know what its like to laugh until it hurts and can make me do the same; laughter derived from purely innocent entertainment, not the joy that is created from anothers pain.

I prefer sci-fi and fantasy -- Spindle's End, The Mists of Avalon, The City of the Beasts, Howling Mad, The Master and Margarita, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Metamorphosis, A Rose for Emily (short story), The Outlaws of Sherwood, The Green Mile, The Sword of Truth series, anything by Piers Anthony, Isaac Asimov, Nathaniel Hawthorne, or Robert Frost (It's poetry, I know, but still exceptional reading). I tend to lean towards classic literature as well. There's nothing wrong with Shakespeare! =)Okay, so I'll read anything...literally. Even text books just for the fun of it. -_-
