About Me

About The Riverside: Drive a good 30 mins inland of OBX and you'll find a small town of 17,188 called Elizabeth City. Known mainly for how many people just pass through, but soon a band will come out of this town and give the people of Elizabeth City something to be proud of, that band is The Riverside.
Comprising of five friends all growing up in Elizabeth City, NC and founded by bass player, Alain Donnell and guitarist, Andrew Sanders in mid-January of 2007. These young aspiring musicians combine the key elements from Indie Rock, with its authentic free-spirited sound & Jazz, with soulful intimate melodies and a touch of Blues to create a sound unique but familar, a sound all their own.
