Hurt the Lion

Formed and based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Hurt the Lion is a power trio with ambitions of spreading their new breed of music to a generation being bombarded with new pop divas and mindless jingles on a daily basis. Although the band has only been in existence since early 2005, HtL has been featured on Denmark Productions Halifax Plugged-in VI, performed live on Global Televisions Global Noon, were finalists in Dalhousie Universitys Atlantic Music Explosion, received airtime on Halifax radio giant Q104 and have been playing shows from Halifax to Moncton, burning down a few buildings along the way. With a new arsenal of songs in the bank the bands current aim is to showcase their music to as many listeners as possible, while making preparations to record their debut album in the coming months.
