DJ Nick@Nite

As long as i can remember i've been in love with music . I still remember playing my little red keyboard i got one christmas when i was little. I also remember stealing batteries out of anything to put them in my older brothers casio keyboard from around 87, it had freestyle beats and all that.. I remember way back like in the 4th grade cruisin in my brothers 89 Mustang bumpin Ice Cube, and ever since then i've been listening to that real.. what ever you wanna call it Rap, Gangsta Rap, Hip Hop.. i just know whats real to me.. It seems im always feeling an artists underground work but as soon as they go major shit changes.. it seems that now nobody is realing saying shit.. i mean producers are making these hot beats and hot hooks.. but aint really saying shit.. I learned to read music in Jr. High and learned a bit of piano in highschool till my teacher passed away suddenly.. but when ever i can i play from memory.. The mixes i make under the alias Nick @ Nite are really my way to get away from the stress, the things we all deal with. Lately i started recording myself with simple flows.. things i wrote in a few minutes, almost freestyling.. again I remember rapping and recording and mixing back in Jr. High around 92 looping beats with my brothers computer, the first sony Vaio, in Wav format.. that was fun as hell when i was a kid..While my cousin Rasco was locked up i remember kicking a flow i never recorded but Frank (FX) my longtime homie might remember, was the best i ever did.. I still got my NICK and FX mixtape homie!'01. to be continued...
