Straight out of the UK's cosmopolitan West London, 'The Kaizen' are a rap group consisting of two equally adept emcees: Tay Dame and Alex James.

The pair have fused an alliance via 'old skool' friendship over beats to treat the UK to what, up until now has been lacking in the mainstream ...Real Rap Music!

The Kaizen's unique approach to Hip-Hop is making the industry take notice. Lyricism is back. Music is back. Hip Hop is back.

The pair have been on the rap scene for some time. However, the recent completion of their first major project, the album entitled 'Diamond', and a big budget video for their forthcoming single release 'It's Alright' and 2009 appears to be all stations go for this london based duo! All we can say is, watch this Space......The future looks bright for The Kai!

Band Members: Tay Dame(Damo) a.k.a King Tyf a.k.a Blaq Gold is the group's rapper & producer. Influenced by any music that has a rhythm and real listenability, he has commited his efforts into getting critics to recognise The Kai as more than just a rap act, but rather, accomplished musicians in a genre called Hip Hop.

Alex James a.k.a Lyx Luthor a.k.a is quite literally among the UK's most original and creative rap artists. Daring to perform anything that compliments the instrumental in the right way.

Influences: Anything that sounds like good music, the signature of The Kai's music is the ability to fuse sounds together in order to create a Hip Hop track. The Kai's influences range from Tupac and GhostFace, to Coldplay, Athlete and Keane. The Debut Major single release ('Its Alright') creatively utilises acoustic guitar, strings, piano accompaniments and vocoders resulting in an original, yet addictively listenable track.

The music biz is NO joke, but I (King Tyf, aka Daimo, aka Tay Dame aka Blaq gold) have been bang on this thing for over 10 years now, and I'm feeling like its about time we buss like an excited teenag...
