LAYOUTS AND MORE AT BLINKYOU.COM Hey ya'll! My little brother made me sign up for one of these things because he said I was the last person on earth without one. But apparently, I wasn't because 35 million people have joined since then. But it has been so cool! It is SO much better than the slam books we had back in the day! :) I'm a 1st grade teacher with Virginia Beach Schools and usually really love it. (There are those days though! :)) I'm recouping from some serious drama that was my life the past few years, not sure quite where I'm headed next. I'm hooking up my passport with a few more stamps this summer! I'm planning a mission trip to Maylasia and India with my brother, my dad, and some friends. I really have no idea what's on the agenda other than spending some time at a local orphanage and reaching out to the community. Then my brother and I are headed for a 36 hour trip to Singapore and then, while we're there....10 days in Australia. Our cousin and his wife are there. But let's be honest, I really just wanna kiss his kids. :) I've been to Honduras twice since July - spending time at an all girls orphange and their surrounding community. I love the people! (And finally using my 5 years of HS spanish!) The Hondurans have a sincerity and generosity that sometimes we lose in the craziness of our techno saavy lives. We Americans have the ability to influence so many lives with very little of our time, money, and love. I want to make a true difference in the world; not just say it, but really do it! Wanna help? I'm at the basin of what is proving to be a huge learning curve. So, I'll have to get back to you on more about me after I sift through all of these new paradigms and perspectives. I remember watching my old huskie dog running in the snow, deliriously content in doing what she was created to do. I am so ready for God to mold me into the woman He created me to be; deliriously content fullfilling my purpose. Love to all!
