About Me

My goals in life are to be in a happenin' rock 'n roll combo or maybe a world famous chef.

I do make a lot of time for some rockabilly, surf/instro, Bubblegum, 70s/80s power pop, early black rock & roll from the 50s, 60s/early 70s soul R&B, garage revival stuff like the Fuzztones, Gruesomes, Stomachmouths, Chesterfield Kings, Lyres ...
THE RAMONES, Jesus & Mary Chain, and moderne garage rock like zee Cramps, The Mummies, The Gories, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Oblivians, The Drags, Blacktop, Black Lips, Ugly Beats, Spaceshits/Les Sexareenos/BBQ, etc etc!

Another damn beer review

Tonight I'm having a Breckenridge Small Batch 471 Double IPA. The bottle has an 06 etching on the side, but that didn't bother me much since the bombers were in a box and the alcohol is around 9%!The ...

The Blue Onion .. so, is it any good?

After years of passing by the place, I decided to stop by the Blue Onion with my uncle and aunt. First up was the flat bread sampler with three kinds of dips. The hummus was good and the shrimp bagna ...

My aunt woke me up to go shopping for groceries. I managed to drive around half asleep. After dropping off my aunt, I went to the gourmet shop and bought a 12 oz bottle of Liefmans Goudenband, my firs...

Beer Fridge Pic

It's slowly filling up .. but no one wants to join in drinking with me. Good thing I only drink when I eat, otherwise I'd do it alone (which is highly underrated)...

If I could drink just one thing, it’d be a bomber of Stone IPA ..

Today I went to a rinkydink liquor store (Holidays Wine & Liquors) that I try to avoid, but can't resist going once a month. This place is well known for having year old beer, still on the shelves. I ...

Cheese updates and other things ...

I ate about half of the Roquefort, then didn't feel like eating cheese for a few days. A week later, I opened up the zip-lock bag and I get this big whiff of ammonia ... apparently, the mold inside th...
