Silverstones

Hello all! First of all thanks for checking the site out!The SilverStone boys are from Stockport south Manchester. The band consists of George Brown 22 – guitar/vocals, John Astley 26 – guitar/keyboard/backing vocals, Dave Leighton 22 - bass, Rob Brown 30 - drums.Over the years the SilverStones have been playing to fans in and around the Manchester area, winning battle of the bands in Macclesfield on their first two gigs was a good start. But since then they’ve been playing the bigger venues like Manchester Academy 3, also opening the new Academy 4 in the students union, Night & Day and Hard Rock cafe to name but a few, but the HMV showcase does tend to be a favourite with the fans, and the band.Instead of rambling on for hours trying to think of ways of describing the music, why not just have a quick listen and let us know what you think either by sending us a message or posting a comment.Soon the SilverStones will be looking to take their music around the country, as they have fans in Liverpool, Leeds, London, Cardiff and Sheffield it would seem a good idea, (for now at least). They even have support from our cousins across the pond in down town Los Angeles, even Italy, but one step at a time ay, (the music was played by an indie/rock DJ in his LA club, it went down that well the guys recieved t-shirts to say thanks, good on the yanks!)Any way have a good scan through the site, you might even see yourself on the pics page or slide show bladdered and not looking your best, dont be shy of leaving us some feedback about the tunes, or just talk bo!!*cks for a bit, we don’t mind.Hope you enjoy the sound!
