About Me

Well, after a stint as a consultant for the Air Force, now I'm a stay at home mom! I truly thought I was going to get tired of staying home, but it's rather fast-paced here en la casa. Little Skittle (Jada) keeps me on my toes! I've given myself over to the domestic arts of cooking, cleaning, and mommy-ing, with the occassional sprinkling of webpage design and preparing to go back to school for my doctorate. Not to mention, I've adapted quite a bit of my professional habits to my home life. We live on a schedule and have a daily agenda.Michael and I have another year left here in merry ol' England, so we're revving up for our goodbye tour of travel and fun. We're really enjoying being parents. It is amazing how much your life can change and how ready you are to give yourself over to such a wee one! Reading, movies, music, cooking (and subsequently eating), traveling, hanging out in cafes.

I'd like to meet:

New people? I'm not going to put famous people up here. Seriously, like Johnny Depp is just going to drop by my house for afternoon tea. Get real!

Music:

I love music! All kinds.

Movies:

Gone with the Wind, Love Actually, 13 going on 30, Just Like Heaven, all the Marvel movies, all the American Pie movies, all Disney classics, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon...okay, you get the point. I'm a huge movie fan. Except for horror flicks.Hotel Rwanda and Schindler's List are a definate must for all people.

I told you I would suck at this. I cannot keep a journal to save my life. The last time I wrote I was pregnant. My child is now 6 weeks old. LOL.
