Sounds Like: Cris & Jay - Biography
"Cris" birth as Errol W. Mitchell (Jr.) on February 9th and "Jay" birth as Javion J. Mitchell on June 4th both born in Jamaica alongside with their older brother. Both; residing in Florida for the most part of their childhood years. Both known as "Cris & Jay" are hard at work putting overtime grind into any musical projects. They get their hands on, now that's real grind! They specialize in producing everything from Hip-Hop, R&B & many more.
Representin' the South "Cris & Jay" started making beats back when "Cris" was just 15 & Jay was just 12 years of age in the summer of 2002. They noticed that other Producers were making simple beats that insulted them as a listener. "Cris & Jay" both earned their respect on underground community websites and even collected thousands of listeners. Of course, which came some haters down the line, Lol! After, earning their props from fellow fans and producers encouraging them to keep doing what they do best…
Since, then "Cris & Jay" thereafter; worked real hard to accomplish what they've establish to this day. They both; strive to bring a unique sound and style to the music game. Blending their influences to bring out an unique sound. Looking back on their younger days the people that supported them as a young an talented musician were their older brother "Mark", who made the music thing possible for them and their cousin "K.B.". The music both "Cris & Jay" mainly listens to is basically; everything from Pop to Hip Hop. "Cris & Jay" have learned a lot using what they've learned thru self perseverance & nights without sleep reading music industry book etc., that the music industry is slowly loosing it's originality. So; both brothers strive to bring that originality back.
