About Me

This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!
Okey, dokey...I'm 29 years old (I like to think of it as the new 18 :)), and I'm married to the love of my life - Josh. We live in Lubbock Texas and I have the greatest job ever! I work at Church on the Rock where I get to train leaders, plan mission trips, and work with university students. I am a graduate from Oral Roberts University and I am now working on my M Div. at The King's Seminary - I graduate in June (Yay!). For fun, I like to shop, take pictures, travel, and run. I've actually run a couple of marathons, and it was an AMAZING experience! My passion is for the world to receive God's immense love and to mobilize others to take His love into the nations!I have the greatest family! Parents that are wise and fun, In-laws who bless me in more ways than I can count, 2 gorgeous sisters & 1 sister-in-law, 3 fun-loving brothers-in-law & the 5 cutest nieces and nephews you have ever seen!

My Interests

Lazy mornings with Josh, a great cup of coffee, shopping with my mom & sisters, a good book, taking pictures, curling up on my couch with the orange blanket, running in the cold, girl weekends with Wendy & Angel, cute purses, hanging out with zoe girls, trees (we don't have many in Lubbock), visiting new places (especially foreign places), watching someone "get it" when I'm teaching, soaking, having a good talk with my dad.

I'd like to meet:

Mother Teresa, the apostle Paul, and Jane Austen

Music:

I love great worship - Jamie Lipe and Hillsongs are my favorites. And of course, my all time favorite singer is Leslie Rich - her voice makes me happy.

Movies:

I love slow romantic British movies - Pride & Prejudice (the new and BBC versions), Emma, etc... I also love Sweet Home Alabama, NottingHill, and The Notebook.

Television:

The Office, Grey's Anatomy, Project Runway...

Books:

Blue Like Jazz, Fresh Brewed Life, Ruthless Trust, Redeeming Love, The Screwtape Letters, and Jane Austen Novels.

Heroes:

My parents & grandmother
