About Me

Hey all, I'm a bible college student at Bethany Bible College. I'm in my third year getting a double major in Church Planting slash Pastoral Ministry.
I can't say that I have any one interest that defines me. I love doing a variety of things, and love a variety of activities. It baffles me when you ask someone what they like and they can some it up in a single word.
Example: "Horses! I love horses. Big ones, small ones, I don't care. I just love horses, horses are my favorite."
It makes no sense to me.
After college I feel God is calling me to plant churches in Calgary, Alberta. If you ever get a chance to go out there, do it.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

As cliche as it might be, I've realized recently how much I want to meet Jesus. I long for the day that I actually DO get to stand before him and talk with him.

But in another way, I desire so much to meet the Jesus that lived in 1st Century Israel. To watch his interaction with others, hear his teachings for myself, observe his entire attitude towards life, culture, God, religion, the aristocracy, bourgeois, proletariat.

I believe implicitly that Jesus was without sin. But did anyone realize that at the time? Or were some of his actions so counter-cultural that the people saw them as sinful despite the fact that in every way he showed love and obedience to his Abba Father.

Yes, I wish so much to be covered with the dust of my Rabbi Jesus. To know him in the deepest, dearest sense.
