The Ugly Duckling that Never Grew Up

About Me

Brown/Black hair, Black eyes, tanned skin, 5 foot 11'- 6f. Virgo is my zodiac not what i am. Straight, 99% of the time. What can I say... I am a Nice guy, but nice guys always finish last...My cell 256-282-2070 I was born in Germany, and was raised there for almost half my life. Most of my family and friends are from Germany and I still keep in touch with most to this day. I am a very Family oriented person. I love children, I can't wait to have my own (well I will wait). 23-25 is a good age, in my opinion, to get married. I don't restrict myself by having boundaries or limitations, anything is possible. I like to read and write. I have completely finished with writing 2 children's books. The only person to have read them has been my sister. I don't plan on getting published anytime soon, I wrote these purely for fun. I am still in the proccess of writing 2 more books. One is supposed to be an inspirational book, the other is a How to live your Life. I use to In-Line until i Broke my wrist on a half pipe. I like volunteering, I use to volunteer on average 8-10 hours a week at the Ronald McDonald House. It makes me proud to know that I made a difference in someone's life. Some of my most memorable experiences occured while I was over there. First time I saw someone propose was there... Recently there was a little girl i met, she came from Guatemali. She could not speak english but the director of RMH (Ronald McDonald House) and her mother explained to me why she was being treated. She had a brain tumor and she was not even 6 yet. Her mom first realized that there was something wrong with her when she crawled back into the house saying "she can't move her right half of her body". Her mother was shocked, but was even more shocked by her daughter's calm. She brought her to their local doctor but he could not tell her what was the matter. After about a year of progressing symptoms, the mother got fed up with it, she went to another doctor in a bigger town to ask him. He couldn't give a direct answer but he had the assumption it was either a build up of fluids in the brain cavity putting pressure onto the girl's brain or it was a tumor. He, however, could not help. Nor could any hospital in the country give her the operation or procedures neccesary for her. She was forced to come to Alabama and live about 5 months at the Ronald McDonald house. Her daughter and I became close friends. It took a while for her to welcome me as a friend, but eventually she did. I helped her learn English, taught her how to cook. And overall had a good time. I always looked forward to going back to the RMH for these rewarding and memorable moments... I, myself, was shocked to find out that the little girl, Katarina, whom i started to call Ariel (the first movie we watched together was the Little Mermaid, she thought that Ariel was beautiful.), did not even know that she was gonna have an operation. She, in fact, didn't even know about the brain tumor. Her mother didn't wanna tell her, well, at least not yet. Her mother did tell her a few days before the operation that she would be operated, yet still did not tell her why. Ariel, asked me if it would hurt or not, and I told her about my arm and when I had to get operated. I didnt feel a thing during the entire operation. She was relieved. I promised her that I would stop by after her operation and bring her a gift. And I fulfilled my promise. I found out while I was there, that she did not have the entire tumor removed. She was too young to have the entire tumor removed, so they removed a good bit of it. When she turns around 14ish she will be able to come back to Mobile and have the rest of it removed. Katarina was and is one of the bravest and calmest kids i have ever met, her story and her life is a sad one but I will always be proud of her.As A volunteer I know I made a difference in Many families lives. Being there for them. Being a comforter. Being a tissue on occasion. I'm proud to be a volunteer.....

Music:

lol, I cant even list them all cus i listen to almost everything. Greenday, Blink 182, Flogging Molly, Linkin Park, Smashing Pumpkins, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, Evanescence, Aerosmith, and a shit load more (I'll add a link later to my complete list of favorites)

Movies:

I like watching a lot of movies, it all depends who I'm with though. I like going to the movies with my girl-friends (friends that are girls but if i have one at the time i mean an actual girlfriend) to watch Scary movies and lubbydubby/depressing and funny movies. Scary cus they are (most of the time) easier to scare so when they scream i get scared too (sometimes), but they just add more suspense i geuss, but whenever i am completely spooked out i dont have to suck it up and pretend im not, im not embarassed to be scared when im with my girlfriends. (complicated but its easier to explain in person). Lubbydubby/depressing movies cus during some really really sappy parts ya know im gonna get emotional tooo :-P Not like burst out crying but there will be some tears. Lol i know im a whimp for those movies and i need someone to talk about it with so once again, its better to watch it with my girlfriends. I dont wanna watch them cus they can make me cry but i just cant help but watch them cus sometimes i need to? (lol i geuss that doesnt make sense either). Funny movies cus sometimes u need a good laugh but i don't like watching them in theatres when they are first released. Cus People just cant stop and you miss some parts of the movie cus u or the person next to you is still laughing hard- You know who you are!(Wedding Crashers)one of my All time Favorite kids movie though- Willy Wonka. I refuse to see the new one cus its just a complete disgrace to the first one! Noone can beat it!

Books:

love to read. I read everything, romace included. Danielle Steel is probably one of my fav. romance novels. Harry Potter is the best though, i stood inline to get the 6th book for 7 hours. I was the first one in Calhoun County to purchase the book (i bought 6 that night). I suggest for anyone interested in reading a funny book on Christ though and who isnt insulted easily, you should read: Lamb: The gospel according to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal. I found the entire book helarious. Just the first few lines explains Christ's friends name "biff". It means Slap upside the head daily, something that Biff's mother thoguht he required daily since a very young age. Nywy if u ever wonder what happened to Christ during those years that the bible doesnt mention, this is a very amusing book that expalins it (it is fictional although i did find this book under religion)

Heroes:

Gay Green! Wow, you're a very happy, fun, and
enthusiastic person! :-D You're fun to be
around, and just the sort of person that'd do
your neighbor in the butt!!
