About Me

Hosted at MySpacePranks.com
Hosted at MySpacePranks.comAs you can see, I love cats!!! As a matter of fact, my cat Hip-hop is my child. Daddy's little girl. I"m a fun luving, creative, peaceful, individual who marches to the beat of my own drum yet respect or at least try to the tastes and views of others. 1 thing I can't tolerate is ignorance mixed with stupidity. Also, I appreciate the uniqueness in people. I don't have no time for golddiggers, thugettes, or any fake people. I consider myself a mirror. The face you make will be the face projected back to you. Freaks, geeks, nerds, goths, tattooed chics and Afrocentric types are more than welcomed to hit me up. Better yet, all cool people drop a line.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The Future Mrs. Baldwin...
CAN I GET A WITNESS?!??!

Music:

My taste in music is quite eclectic to say the least. I love old school rap:Grandmaster Flash, Public Enemy, Big Daddy Kane, Krs-1 & BDP, Rakim, 3xDope, Mainsource, EPMD, N.W.A. Rock: Jimi Hendrix, Funkadelic, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Mother's Finest, Fishbone, Living Colour, Danielia Cotton, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Coheed and Cambria, Rush, and KISS. R&B and Soul: James Brown, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Parliament, P-Funk All Stars, Marvin Gaye, SLy & the Family Stone. Heavy Metal: 7Dust, Wicked Wisdom, Ozzy Osbourne, Slipknot, Bad Brains, and The Ramones 80s music: Duran Duran, Johnny Hates Jazz, Alternative Rap and R&B: The Roots, Jaguar Wright, Jill Scott, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, Blackalicious, MF Doom, Quasimoto, and Prince. I also like jazz, blues, techno, and Broadway musicals as well as various old movie film scores.

Books:

They're three books I recommend as required reading. 1st, To Kill A Black Man by Louis Lomax. If U want a great book on Malcolm and Martin as well as a book that gives an insider insight on what made these 2 men tick and made them do what they did. This is the book. I believe it's still in print. If it has to be ordered, the Publisher is Hollowway house books. The Khaballah of Money by Rabbi Nilton Bonder because it helped me see money in a different light as well as why business is conducted the way it is. Money and the desire for it isn't as bad as we're taught to think. Sun Tzu's The Art of War. It was orginally written as a war manual (Duh) but thet are many aspects of the book that can be used on a daily basis in everyday life.

Heroes:

Earl Graves publisher of Black Enterprises because he has played the game and succeeded without selling his soul. Tony Brown of Tony Brown's Journal since he's an underrated journalist and his show has topics we as progressive African-Americans need to hear about. Tavis Smiley and Bryant Gumbel becuase they are the premiere Black journalists out there. Jerry Rice after all he's the Greatest Wide Receiver of ALL Time!!!!!!!! Magic Johnson who played all positions with the Showtime Lakers and is The Greatest Basketball Player of All Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I said it what R U Going 2 Do About IT!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????? Malcolm and Martin, if you need 2 ask who, them you're unbelievably ignorant and stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Rolling Stones, James Brown, Rakim, KRS-1, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, George Clooney, Clint Eastwood among others but 2 fucking many 2 list. This is just a snippet. Oh yeah, I almost 4got, my 2 favorite radios how hosts: Howard Stern and Michael "Bad Boy of Radio" Baisden. I had 2 include those 2 in my snippet as well.
