About Me

In creating "The Science of Self-Exploration", each of us took a gigantic step back and scrutinized every last detail about who we really were as an individual, and as a band, and began to figure out what we wanted to become. We spent months upon months cautiously piecing together this incredibly fragile production that we knew would express our abilities and our thoughts in the most creative and impressive ways possible... from each drum beat, to each guitar lead, to each vocal melody and harmony.
The concept of the EP, in short, was to personify the discovery of one's inner self in relation to experiences, thoughts, dreams, questions, fears, revelations, and all other stimuli that defines who we are. Each of the four tracks takes on a different personification of "self-exploration" through separate situations and examples, and each offers a message to the listener. It was recorded in December 2007 at Northshore Recording in Madison, NJ with engineer Ryan Sellick as well as with Jarred Cannon at Soundmine Recording. The record was mixed by Dan Malsh at Soundmine Recording
