Coming from different influences and different genres like rock, reggae, progressive metal and punk has allowed them to develop a truly powerful professional rock act that invokes various emotions and energies to exude from their audiences. With fusion and a passion for music, reminiscent of major musical acts of the past, talented veteran performers from many groups have come together to create an exciting brew to be consumed that is Agent Zero.
Band members, Jason Williams – vocals, Jon Cabrera – bass, Jaysen Curran- guitar, Jeff Goins –guitar, and Bunje – drums, have dominated their local music scene for the last 12 years. This is evident not only from their ever growing, rabid fan base, but also from them capturing attention and support from commercial and college radio stations, along with winning multiple awards such as OTW “Best of Rockford†awards in 1999, 2001, and 2003. “Rockford Area Music Industry†awards for “best punk/ska†in 1998 and “Best hard rock/Metal†in, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, inducted into the RAMI “Hall of Fame†in April of 2006.The band’s hard work has come to fruition as they secured a sponsorship with Jagermeister. As a Jager band, AZ has had the benefit of partnering with a long time supporter of hard rock music with national promotional power. AZ has also won the “Battle of the Bands†on ernieball.com. This allowed them to secure a slot on the 2002 “Vans Warped Tourâ€. Playing more than 500 shows has given Agent Zero the chance to play with many national acts, such as Staind, Slayer, Damage Plan, Steve O’s MTV Jackass “Don’t try this at Home†Tour, Hinder, Trapt, Rev Theory, Theory of a Deadman, Mastadon, Killswitch Engage, Powerman 5000, RED, Travis Meeks, Skindred, Hurt, Magna Fi, Cold, Slightly Stoopid, Modern Day Zero, Flaw, Smile Empty Soul, RA, Stereomud, Union Underground, Primer 55, Ratt, Soil, The Heavils, Hedder, L.A. Guns, Jackyl, and The Genetorturers.In 2003, Agent Zero signed a recording contract with Borgata Records followed up by a college charting campaign to promote their debut release.
