SOUSE

About Me

In the Spring of 2004, SOUSE was formed out of the ashes of the late progressive fusion band Final Exit. Three times nominated for “Best Jam Band” and "Best R&B/Funk Band" at the Cincinnati Entertainment Awards, SOUSE is a merger of key members of many notable regional funk-fusion and jam acts. Blending infectious melodies with layered rhythms and open improvisational passages, SOUSE continues to forge a unique sound and take their format in new directions. Drawing on keen musicianship and innate compositional skills, SOUSE has compiled an extensive library of original compositions while taking time to pay homage to their jazz and fusion influences.

SOUSE is best experienced live and is currently busy promoting the release of their first full length CD, PUSH, at clubs and festivals throughout the Midwest.
