From The Wreckage aren't going to be making music anymore. We've had a tough old 12 months really, what with being let down so many times by so many people and we have made the decision to not be a band anymore. Im only speaking for myself here but i stopped enjoying it and didnt really want to string Patrick or anyone else along anymore. It is a great shame but when you stop enjoying something you stop enjoying it.
I just want to say thanks to EVERYONE who has EVER helped us or supported us in anyway at all. A big thankyou to
PRESTON and all our supporters and friends there. Preston holds a great deal of memories for me and Patrick and without Preston we would have never made it to Brighton or London. There's a great little music scene up there and its getting better all the time. And also a big thankyou to BRIGHTON and anyone who welcomed us and supported us over the last 18 months. You know who you are and we thank you. Thanks to our management for putting so much time into us and we're sorry it didnt work out.
A big thanks to Patrick for giving me a really awesome 3 years, we had our fights but it was all in good spirit. He's an awesome drummer so im sure you will see him very soon playing with some other band. The From The Wreckage legacy will still continue though, because as i progress in my acoustic direction, i will be using a couple of FTW classics to keep the flame burning!
Thanks again guys.
Greg.
We are a band from Brighton who previously had a home in cosy Preston. We make a good olde racket using a guitar, drum kit and one mic.
We have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some great bands including Idlewild, The Subways, Little Man Tate, Radio 4, Serafin and Good Books. Hope you enjoy our music, see you down the front hopefully. x
