Dude... I frickin love this town!
BUT... thus far it's been just work, home, Walmart, HEB, exploring the little streets alone in the car after 6pm, and running at 6AM. There's GOTTA be something better to do than wash the car at 1AM Saturday night!
Mannn am I bored...
I need to go build me a social life... :)

It's always taken me a while to update the profile, while friends and family wonder what's going on with me. So here goes:
I'm moving to Austin this Labor Day Weekend! :woot:
Moving to the competition, so what can I say - I'm thrilled to be joining yet another great company! Such a great opportunity to contribute to a winning team, certainly great people, great corporate culture, and yes - great opportunity to grow and learn and to make a truly positive impact where it counts, and at such a crucial turning point in time for Dell!
It's certainly been quite a rollercoaster ride these past few years, and to those of you who know me better than most, I just want to say thanks for all your support and prayers.
So it's back to work. And though I admit it will take some time to get acclimated to this change - time has passed for old biases and perceptions to be thrown out the door. Inasmuch as great opportunities go, Dell has afforded me a wonderful position to reinvent myself, make something great of the winds of change, and contribute greatly where innovation and initiative play an integral part of the greater pie. There's so much potential for career and professional growth, with a great team and great managers, increased work responsibilites, an excellent corporate culture, and an excellent company with people that I can relate with.
And of course, it's back to a better life in perhaps one of the best cities in America! Austin, TX :) Damn, what a dream come true!
I can't say I won't play as hard as I aim to work my back off. This time around, though, I'll work my best to play the game both conservatively and aggressively. It's gonna be quite a feat to keep the joker in the box. It's especially difficult knowing that the group I'm joining is younger, more diverse, and... knowing it's Austin, I guess certain stereotypes persist: "friendly, relaxed, ... alive!" Hey, I only look forward to making the most of the new water cooler I'll be hangin' around... and the watering holes too at night! God save me from lack of sleep!
Austin..! Larryboy has arrived :D
--------- ueber mich ----------
I'm just your average everyday bore. I drive a stock whale of a headturner. I live to work, work to play, and work and play to win. I get up every morning for the grind, eat my square three, and do my best to make the best of everything in the everyday humdrum of life. All this with either Jazz, classical, or Britney Spears in the background. mmmm...Mwahahaha!
I can't say I'm ostentatious, though I'm definitely not passe to the finer things. Most certainly not!
I'm also a recovering car addict. (w3rd to Club3G. com ) I've been accused of being a workaholic, perpetually trying to balance every aspect life (which mostly consists of work). And that 'work' happens to be with Fortune's number 35, and a constant contender to top spot in the industry.
Great to be a part of yet another winning team - I love my group! And I look forward to contributing as much to the team's initiatives and goals, as I expect nothing less than to expand my own as I grow with the team and the company.
Life's good, and I cherish every opportunity to get challenged by life's unexpected ups and downs. I know Someone's got my back ;)
Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam
There are only a few people on mySpace whom I really and truly miss hanging out with, and you know who you are. Youaren't my Top 8 for nothin':)
