Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the International Space Station, that I have always felt a major aid to World Peace, I put together a video of a song that I recorded with Allan Holdworth, playing guitar, called "Living in the Sky". I'm also joined by Steve Chapman (Poco) on drums and Lou Castro on Bass and Merry Stewart playing keyboards. Shortly after I wrote it in 1985, the song won the Japanese Expo.
PEACE ONE DAY PICKS PAUL KORDA SONG
International Entertainment News.com, Staff reporter, United Kingdom
In September 2001 the Member States of the United Nations unanimously adopted the first-ever annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence—Peace Day, 21 September, inspired by English peace activist Jeremy Gilley who began Peace One Day is supported by a growing number of artists and peace loving folk around the World.
As Paul Korda began his latest drive to bring more creativity to areas of high social frustration with his yearly holiday campaign to fund the Los Angeles Magnet school program for the performing arts by a download of his song "Beyond the Darkness" by Paul Korda and the 32ndSt/USC Choir together with a printable artwork for greetings cards, the music video that he produced was added to the seven "Songs for Peace" on Peace One Day's website. In the gathering momentum to this admirable effort driven by the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Annie Lennox, Alanis Morisette, Dave Stewart and Jimmy Cliff, Paul Korda, who was a star of the Original London cast of HAiR and who presently has another song in the Italian charts, was ecstatic that his project is reaching more people and that voices for peaceful expression are growing. Paul Korda stated. "Art has and will always play a leading role in change, because it is what it is, and we all deserve to be what we are, and not held hostage by fear and repression", he continued, "How can Democracy set up the rule of Law, when murder and mayhem is fought by more murder and mayhem. It's not logical to tell your people one thing and then do the very thing that you claim is unlawful", he went on, "I can see that before long, the world's population will demand that their governments grow up and learn to get along!"

"CO2" - Paul Korda from "Seeds" was written and recorded in four days, the week ending August 17th as well as the video being posted on YouTube. Take a look and listen, and you'll see why it was done with no time to lose.
Here's a video of "Loving Emotion" by the Paul Korda Band (Lou Castro on Bass, Merry Stewart keyboards, John Marshall drums) with Julie Hopkins, Leslie Shampaigne and Kevin O'Rourke from the LA Ballet giving their all, filmed at LA's Club Lingerie in the eighties.
