Chaos for Comfort

Chaos for Comfort is an energetic, post-indie rock trio from Kitchener-Waterloo. Formed in 1998, brothers Jonathan & Paul Rivard and Boyce fuse captivating melodies with fast, intricate driving rhythms, wrapped in a blanket of atmospheric sound.With three previous releases under their belts, their most previous 2006 LP 'Moments Aligned in Symmetry' was a critical release for the band. Chaos for Comfort supported the release with a 100-date tour across Ontario and Quebec, and received significant rotation on campus radio stations and CBC radio 3. Several tracks were also included in the internationally viewed independent American film "Hunting with Simon Ashley" as well as the sold out 'Faint & Hearted' compilation.Now, Chaos for Comfort readies their newest LP, 'I'll Tell People' for its summer '09 release. With a loyal following in Southern Ontario and Quebec, they are currently seeking to perform this summer in the tri-city area, and then return to the roads for a national tour this fall.Chaos for Comfort is sure to contrast and entertain with their curiously-polite stage banter and driving, high-energy live show.
