I grew up in the ATL (Atlanta, for those of you who don't listen, watch or read anything dealing with pop culture) and have recently moved to the great city and state of Sterling, VA (Virginia, for those of you who don't remember state abbreviations).
I've learned a lot as I've migrated from the East coast to the southern central focus point of the United States (Texas) and back to the East coast. Such things are:
-
Never go back to Texas.
When in doubt, do not take any bribes, gifts, monetary goods or ANYTHING to go back to Texas.
I am free to visit Texas, if I want to revisit THE WORST TIME IN MY LIFE!
With that said, I do want to let prospective Texas immigrants know that there are a few good people there. Such good people I had the honor of knowing are:
-
Ann and Jon (along with their adorable children)
Sarah and John (along with their adorable children)
All my co-workers, as you all were the refreshing spring in the hot, deserted dune they call Texas.
And, of course, my wonderful girlfriend, O, and her two beautiful daughters.
