Offended many with his songs that celebrated violence and misogyny, but he also attracted a wide audience, selling millions of records. Despite his hard-core image, Shakur was an intelligent, well-read individual who had a budding acting career. He appeared in Poetic Justice (1993), Juice, and Gridlock'd (1997). By 1994, 2Pac rivaled Snoop Doggy Dogg as the most controversial figure in rap, spending as much time in prison as he did in the recording studio. His burgeoning outlaw mythology helped his 1995 album Me Against the World enter the charts at number one, and it also opened him up to charges of exploitation. His recordings include All Eyez on Me and 2Pacalypse Now. Unfortunately, the gangsta lifestyle he captured in his music soon overtook his own life. While his celebrity was at its peak, he publicly fought with his rival the Notorious B.I.G., and there were tensions brewing at Death Row. Even with such conflicts, however, 2Pac's drive-by shooting in September 1996 came as an unexpected shock. On September 13, six days after the shooting, Shakur passed away, leaving behind a legacy that was based as much on his lifestyle as it was his musicimg src=http://rds.yahoo.com/S=96062883/K=tupac+shakur/v=2/SID=w /l=IVS/SIG=11q6m1us7/EXP=1105982250.r{}
Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature's law is wrong it learned to walk with out having feet. Funny it seems, but by keeping it's dreams, it learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else ever caredimg src=http://rds.yahoo.com/S=96062883/K=tupac+shakur/v=2/SID=w /l=IVS/SIG=11vdj1hul/EXP=1105984315.r{}
