To tell you the truth, im not really a band in myself, as much as I am in a band or two. I'm a synth player, a trombone honker, a power chord stroker, and sample recorder. Alot of the stuff that i post here is really just stuff for my friends, and enemies to listen to. But if your not in one of those two catagories, do not fret, you can listen too.I mainly want to use this myspace as a way of showing off some synth program i made up, or a song i played in with a band, and my own peresonal soap box in the biggest soap box stadium of all time.I would also like to take some time out to remind chris that he sucks at mario kart, and always will. Infact i have added a blog post and a screenshot or two just to remind chris, that im just plain ole better at mario kart then him. Hope your having a good time in alberta btw. What is this the like 7th time you had to goto alberta cause you couldn't stand the shame of losing at mario kart again?I'm kinda tech savy, love digg.com, and diggnation (this week's episode of diggnation is brought to you by go daddy dot com) along with a few other podcasts, including this week in tech, this week in media, games and more entertainment weekly.I live in Fredericton New Brunswick, where i would argue is the cultural hub of NB. It's a great place to live, goto school and rock out. Great bands/artists such as: The Fussy Part, Sam Thulin, Scott MacDonald, The Brad Perry Disaster, James Boyle, Olympic Symphonium, among others, casually and regularly play at a friendly downtown venue, the capital. Fredericton is located along the banks of the St John River. However, Fredericton isn't the only place I have hung my hat. I originally come from Campbellton NB, a slightly disadvantaged French speaking town located on the nothern shore of the province. Where Campbellton lacks, in music, economics, and social stability, it gains in it's picturesque views, of the eastern most point of the Canadian Shield mountain range, the world famous Restigouche River. It is in this town that I first discovered my love of music, through the high school music program at Sugarloaf Senior High School. It's there that i learned how to play my first instrument, the trombone, back in 1996. I continued to play with the SSHS school band, even after my graduation. Without the guidence of Connie Grahm and Ben Gaudet, I doubt I would have ever pursued any future in music.I currently play keys and trombone in 'The Names and Faces'. I would try and describe our music, and assign it a genre, if i thought i could. However, honestly, i can't quite describe our sound, so why not drop by our myspace and have a listen for youself.(www.myspace.com/thenamesandfacesband)
