About Me

The Ghost personnifies each one's haunting thoughts toward the intrinsic absurdity of life for a counscious mind. It can be applied to mostly everything. It's a personnal matter, althought ubiquitous in society. It could be compared to Sartre's Nausea, but it shouldn't be reduced to only that. Feeding your Ghost is somehow a self-destructive process that occurs unwillingly but counsciously. And this, in a very occidental/urban point of view.
Feed the ghost emerges from the gathering of three horizons transcending into one new gripping sound. Blessed with the ability to sculpt soulful and powerful music, Feed the ghost may exist in a parallel space to the accessible tasteless pop, but what a wonderful space it is.
Mikael is the inspired one, receiving random flashes of intense moments and transposing them with his guitar and his voice into a particular and meaningful music. Mataï's contribution of low frequencies and arranging/producing experience consolidates the fragile elements into a solid structure and adds a musically rich bassline, aslo inserting catchy elements of syncopation and keyboards into the blend. A final, solid frame is added as Mathieu's cartesian approach of drumming, anchored in math-rock/funk/schematic rhythms, gives its pragmatic character to the songs.
