Joni

I'm not obsessing. I'm just curious.

About Me

Let's see...I was born in McMinnville, Oregon and in the place of the hospital where I was born there is now a Walgreens....ah...progress. I'm a major dorkus-malorkus. I don't feel entirely comfortable being all prim and proper because I know at some point I'm going to screw it up anyway by tripping and falling or spilling some sort of food item down the front of my shirt. I am just me, honest and direct, sometimes to a fault. I don't like people who judge me by the kind of car that I drive or how much I have in the bank or what I can do for them. I like to play video games. Halo is my ultimate favorite, but also enjoy a lot of different fighting, puzzle and driving games. (And who doesn't love Guitar Hero and Rockband.) Beyond that, I'm a loving mother and an adoring wife who enjoys cooking, laughing about EVERYTHING, and who actually loves her job.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The entire original cast of SNL. My dad. People who are real. People who don't just take everything at face value. People who have a thirst for knowledge and question the many facets of life. I would want a time machine to meet people throughout history: Sigmund Freud, Marquis De Sade, J.R.R. Tolkein, Susan B. Anthony, Cleopatra, Leonardo Da Vinci, Galileo, Mark Twain, Bill Hicks......people who've had actions or ideas that were so profound that they have lived on for far more than 15 minutes. Which reminds me...Andy Warhol would have been interesting to know.....though I wouldn't have been cool enough to meet him.

Music:

I enjoy the musical stylings of: The Aquabats, The Buzzcocks, The Dresden Dolls, Duran Duran, B-52's, Billy Joel, Elton John, Dr. Teeth & the Electric Mayhem, Adam and the Ants, Me First and the Gimmie Gimmie's, Sebadoh, Paul Oakenfold, Chemical Brothers, Orbital, King Missile, DJ Qbert, Aerosmith, Brian Setzer, The Eagles, Madonna, Prince and the Revolution, Tina Turner, ABBA, The Darkness, Beastie Boys, Depeche Mode, Run D.M.C., 2 Live Crew, MC Front, The Beatles, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, WHAM!, Garbage, or whatever I feel like...GAWD!
