I'm not much of a movie buff, as anyone who knows me will tell you. My favorite funnies are Super Troopers, Anchorman, and The Sweetest Thing. Best spooks, The Shinning and Silence of the Lambs. Greatest romances... well, they'd have to be The Notebook and A Walk to Remember. Short story,Garden State. Favorite all time... probably Forrest Gump.

Books like Harry Potter and The Ancient one, but I'm more on the visuals than the read.
Sounds cliché, but I'd have to say my Mother. I admire the way she recognizes the world and herself. She opens her heart and arms to all and is just a warm, calm presence to be around. She is and will always be my hero.
