Things I've learned from life:
You don't have to finish college in 4 years.
It's better if you don't.
It feels so damn good when you finally do!
You can have more than one best friend in life.
You'll count on each for different things.
You can't live without them.
Certain people you meet in life will spark changes in you that you never thought would be possible.
It can turn you into a completely different person.
That's not a bad thing.
Don't piss off your parents.
They always have ways to get you back.
No matter how old you are.
You may have to work your way up the corporate ladder.
Some asses need to be kissed on the way.
Those asses may have certain perks attached - very handy perks.
A conversation from Overheard in New York that I've actually had with Joel...
Girl: I wish I hadn't eaten those pancakes for breakfast. I feel sick. Thanks a lot.
Guy: "Thanks a lot"? All you wanted to do this morning was eat pancakes!
Girl: What? I just wanted oatmeal. You are the one who woke up and said, "Yay! Let's make pancakes!" You are the one who wanted them!
Guy: That's because last night you said you wanted pancakes!
Girl: Oh. I was drunk.
