Diogo Ribeiro (D-tector / Red Slack) and Pedro Caetano (Dr. Bastard / Da Steppers) are the mentors of this project, to make a connection between the past , the present and the future.
With sounds that goes from Roots/Reggae till Electronic Dub/electro, this duo presents a fresh and relaxing proposition with strong messages.
Diogo Ribeiro, producer since 1993, with several edited works as D-Tector, as well as Faktor-D in labels such as Baroque rec, Flow rec., Neurobiotic rec., Progressive Grooves, Liquid rec., JER Rec. Millenium rec., Solarsiv, rec. Sounds of Sanity rec, Nanobeat rec., under the progressive trance music scene, had played in many events and festivals that took him to countries like Spain, USA, Switzerland, Croatia and México.
Pedro Caetano aka Dr.Bastard (DJ Reggae/Dancehall/Ska/Dub) since 2001, playing at most of the clubs in the portuguese scene.
He is also the lead vocals of a reggae band – Da Steppers, as well as writer and co-composer. They are about to release this year on Nomada rec.
The intention passes between the creation of organic ambience with emotions and the fusion of the voice as instrument and vehicle of information.
Cooltour is so ever an adventure that wants to challenge the limit of musical genres, and create his own space blowing up with the stereotypes e pointing to the unknown.

They are also about to release their debut EP on Dubkraft rec. later this year.
The live itself consists on the fusion between analogue and digital, with Dr. Bastard on the vocals and melodica, and D-tector on synthesiser, Fx’s and live control.
Is a project that works well in alternative/downtempo/chill-out areas, from experience at about 10:00 am , since it starts slower and builds up onto a stronger beat, or in the evening as an opening act, in the main stage.
