..MAS FiNA is : Sid Siddall (Shyster/The Affair/BigGame) Dan Strickland (Wolfgang/Hot Karl/Alter Ego) Aaron Martinez (Tempest, Finster, Zelda-Bender Band)------------- This talented trio originally formed in 2002 has been packing local night spots throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan with their high energy live show. MAS FiNA performs a wide variety of hot new rock, contemporary R&B, classic dance tunes, and even country. But what MAS FiNA may be MOST remembered for are their re-makes of "Old School" rap tunes like "Baby Got Back", "Bust a Move", "Tricky", "Funky Cold Medina" and more, all brought up to date in "MAS FiNA" style.Utilizing state of the art sampling technology, MAS FiNA maintains a technical edge that enables them to virtually duplicate the sounds of the artists that they cover. Plus, because MAS FiNA uses NO instrument amps or monitors on stage, MAS FiNA can perform their show at an appropriate volume in virtually ANY room.On stage, all MAS FiNA sets run non stop, with virtually no down time or dead air between songs. Plus, as a longtime personality on Toledo's WIOT radio, Sid keeps the crowd entertained in between groups of songs.Because all 3 members of MAS FiNA have been featured as lead singers in previous bands, lead vocals are divided equally between all 3 members. Each member takes on the songs best suited for their individual voice. This always keeps the MAS FiNA sound fresh, As well as shifting the bands focal point. Band Members: ____________________________________________________________ __________________________ *Dan Strickland (Guitar/Keyboards/Vocals) No stranger to the Toledo music scene, Dan has preformed with bands like Wolfgang, Hot Karl, and Alter Ego. Through his High School years, as a choir member and soloist, Dan toured and competed in local and regional competitions. Also a classically trained pianist, Dan's passion is now focused primarily on the guitar. He is widely regarded as one of the best in the area. Dan brings tremendous energy to the stage and possesses a dynamic presence that demands attention. Plus, the addition of a talented keyboardist opens up the MAS FiNA set list to a whole new dimension of tunes! ____________________________________________________________ __________________________*Aaron Martinez (Bass Guitar/Lead & Background Vocals) Singing since the age of 5 Aaron, an Army veteran from Bryan OH, has been featured as lead vocalist for the bands Tempest, and Finster. A true tenor, Aarons vocal range enables the band to take on songs with more challenging vocals like Queen, ACDC, even Pink & Katy Perry! The new MAS FiNA bassist has opened for The Guess Who, Brian Howe of Bad Company, and Ted Nugent. In July of 1998 Aaron was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, He hopes that he can inspire other people with M.S., or any other disabling disease, to keep going and never give up your dreams. ____________________________________________________________ __________________________*Sid Siddall (Drums/Vocals/Percussion sampling) With stints in many of the Toledo areas most popular bands: Shyster/High Society/The Affair/Big Game. Sid is a widely recognized professional in the Toledo music scene. Utilizing state of the art sampling and sequencing technology, Sid augments the sound of MAS FiNA by playing intricate percussion, keyboard and even guitar samples from triggers located throuought his drum kit. Sid is a dynamic performer on stage, always smiling and fun to watch. Plus, as a long time personality on 1047 WIOT Sid posesses a personality that entertains and involves the audience at every MAS FiNA performance.
