About Me

Hi, welcome to my MySpace page. Well, Im not sure how to deal with this bit cos I, er, wear a number of different hats if you know what I mean, when it comes to music....
Hmm
I guess you have to split me into thirds....
One third singer-songwriter. This is where I started out, playing the acoustic guitar and singing. I play solo, and sometimes with my lovely friend Yamit Mamo, who could probably sing a harmony to the sound of a lorry changing gear, and still make it sound beautiful!! I have released 3 albums, the latest being 'Turn the Page'. You can hear some tunes above. I play all over Manchester at lots of different nights, and also down in London, and even Kent when I get the chance to return to my roots for a bit!
One third promoter. I put on live music events in Manchester, under the name SA Promotions. We do gigs at Manchester Academy 3 & 4 / Po Na Na / The Green Room and various other places. I have a MySpace site for SA Promotions telling you all about the events we put on so go have a look at http://myspace.com/sapromotions.
One third record producer / mastering engineer. I work on a freelance basis for a bunch of bands and artists, recording EPs / singles / albums for them, as well as for Energise Records, Klone Records and Rumour Records ( dance labels based in London). I have my own mastering studio, where I do post production on records before they are pressed up and released. I can also sometimes be talked into doing live sound for bands, if they're good!
So that's me. If I'm not playing a gig, putting on a gig or doing sound at a gig, I'm usually, well, at a gig!!
