About Me

I am a mother of 5 and Grandma & Gt. Gramma. I was married for 48 years and lost my Husband to cancer in June of 2004. We all miss him very much. I am 68 yrs old and thought I'd join this group, because lots of my kids & grand kids are on my space also. A good way to keep in touch and meet friends. I love Country bluegrass music and I sometimes play my guitar & sing when I get time. I love doing crafts, Painting, gardening, and lots of other things. Cooking too.& baking pies. We are a close family and get together often and enjoy cook outs, family dinners, & Holiday celebrations. I have a dog named Pete, and several cats.I love animals & feeding the birds & wild animals that show up to eat. My favorite TV shows are CSI, COLD CASE, GHOST WISPERER, & some others. I'm just an old country girl and live in the sticks or out in the Boonies as I call it. ************************************************************ **********************************************************

Music:

Country & Bluegrass Music is my Favorite, but I do listen to Oldies and some pop music, most any kind of Music except heavy metal & Rap.

Movies:

My all time favorite is GONE WITH THE WIND" Forest Gump, Fried Green Tomatoes,Driving Miss Daisey,& many others, I watch TV movies or DVD's at times.

Television:

I Love CSI, Cold Case, Ghost whisperer, Some Court shows and others.

Books:

I am not a reader, but I will read short stories, Ghost stories, Ufo subjects, things that are unexplained like ESP and Dreams etc. And of course The Bible a little at a time.

Heroes:

My Hero's are God" Roy Rogers, The Lone Ranger, Hank Williams sr. & My kids & grand kids.,All of my Family, and my Parents who are in Heaven, My Late Husband & Other family members who are in Heaven.And some of My Friends, who are always here when I need cheering up.
