kimonophonic is the electronic music/sound project of Justin Armstrong, a Canadian living in Upstate New York. He has released records on several labels and continues to play live at small clubs, festivals and basements around the world and across the street. He is currently working on a doctoral degree in cultural anthropology and studies islands.
