These things are weird. I'm supposed to write here
to give you some indication of who I am.
However, I donâ€™t think anyone can explain what makes them...them.
How do you explain those moments
that have shaped your character?
Should I list the moments I might regret?
Or the moments I donâ€™t regret?
The times when I knew I was sorry?
The times I knew they wouldn't admit they were wrong?
The names of the people I've left behind over the years?
The people I've called my best friends
...and how many are still by my side?
The moments it really hit me how much I cared about someone?
Every star I've ever wished on?
Every dream that never came true?
If these would explain me as a person,
I don't know if I'd do it.
If you had the entire history of me in your hands,
would you understand the emotion, motive,
and thought behind every action?
I could tell you my favorite movies, books,
and childhood pasttimes.
I could fit myself into a box
and it might be easier, but I wonâ€™t.
I will, however, say that I love sunsets,
watching kids discover new things,
art,
laughing,
and loving.
I may be afraid of some things
but I'm never afraid to love.
There is satisfaction in learning each new thing
about a person gradually.
From getting to know them, their past, and the moments and people
that make them...them.

My Interests

I enjoy: Burt's Bees chapstick, cooking, vegetarianism, Tofutti Cuties, nudity, road trips, pineapple, singing in the car, open mics, mix cds, ice blocking, burritos, piercings and tattoos, developing my own photos, coffee shops, tea of all kinds, trees, music you can dance to, bonfires, spontaneity, museums, getting letters/packages, camping, hikes, beer, being barefoot, traveling, dance parties, and good company.I donâ€™t like: traffic, relish, chapped lips, coriander seeds, socks, showers, periods, gift cards, getting Bath & Body Works stuff as presents, litterboxes, working with food, people with trust issues, the pokey hook thing at the dentist, banana flavoring, The White Stripes' cover of Tegan and Sara's "Walking With the Ghost," orange zest, dirty floors, the smell of lemon Lysol, and frost on my car windows.

I'd like to meet:

People who will play Scrabble with me
and take time to appreciate
the small things in life.

Open-minded, passionate people who actually care about others
as well as themselves and know how to show that they care.

Lynzie - because no matter what she's one of the best friends you'll ever have and too many people don't realize this
