We've got it all, in West Lancashire!

About Me

Hello, I am called... I live outside Preston. I marked no goals, I'd like to launch snowballs, I surf the web in winter, I hibernate in spring.I can't give you a lift anywhere, because I don't know how to drive and don't intend to learn. I can't dance with you, because I don't know how and I don't intend to learn. I can't do expensive things with you, because I have no big financial ambition and don't think that much worthwhile can be bought, anyway. I'm not the best person to help you move a settee, because I've always been the skinny kid, but, if I liked you, I would probably still try.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People inclined to see repressive shyness as cute or at least understandable rather than fucking pathetic (deluded people, then); people with the means and inclination to have a go at establishing a pantisocratic phalanstery, home colony, or palace of industry/the people; people with booze; people with boobs; the original members of McCarthy, maybe; Bjork; folk who won't expect me to be full of words right away, or willing to dance while also sober enough to stand. Oh, and Dogtanian (I would like to shift through time and fantasy in Paris so as to achieve this last item, and also wave to the communards... "What Would Blanqui Do?" I'd say to them, in reference to indecision on the issue of Versailles' temporary vulnerability). I'm kidding myself.

My Blog

I am enjoying the last of my found-money Southern Comfort.

Recently a terrible condition has overtaken me. I now like summer. I am still being sort of English about it, in that I am spending this likely-brief English summer worrying about how miserable I am g...

See, because we wouldn't have interest rates, and his name sounds a bit like...

If I search, 'preston timetable' and don't bother putting in a bus company, my first result is, "112 - West Preston - St Kilda - To West Preston Timetable... via South Melbourne". Yeah, rub it in, Goo...

WTF, mates?

I just wandered by a web page with quotations from Stalin. All the usuals. It had links to what it called, 'related authors', first amongst whom was, 'Buddha', which I thought was interesting. My ...

Another successful subjectomy

I seem to be listening to Fats Domino. I'm honestly not sure where that came from. So, hi. I've had a cold for two weeks, now, and haven't been able to sleep a lot. There is an appreciable decline in m...

Up early. Brother's not even up for uni, yet. Still dark. Telly's... in foreign. My, I really don't understand a lot of Italian, but they are clearly not happy campers. I think this is supposed to be ...

And the internet cafe’s closing.

Ah! Liam on messenger? Well that's broken my chain of thought. I was probably just going to complain about losing the pub quiz's $100 bar tab on a six-question tie-breaker. Somewhat unfortunate, that....

Because I really don’t have anything better to do.

Where am I up to? I dunno.Went into Mildura, yesterday, for the first time. Sort of nice to get out of Red Cliffs, even if Mildura is far from exciting in itself. I did think that it'd be good to have...

Chivian Communism, I suppose&

Well, that's it, I'm off on Wednesday, most likely. Going somewhere in northern Victoria to do some manner of agricultural work so that I can apply for a second visa (and continue to eat food I didn't...

Uhm

Slight chance I may be vanishing in the next few days, for anything up to three months. If this happens, it means I won't be going home until late October 2008.But... spiders! =/
