My sisters and their kids. Love 'em even when I want to kill 'em.
singing in the shower & karaoke, baking and cooking - I love food and even though I am a food snob I still enjoy Spaghetti-Os, yoga (I love www.yogatoday.com),Yahtzee!, crossword puzzles, board games, card games, movies, sharks, I think there is much to be learned through past life regression therapy & the "other side" though I haven't tried it, women's breasts - my own are just not good enough so I'm obsessed with others.
My Fairy Godmother and My Guardian Angel.
Is it possible to list everything that I enjoy? I Love the 80's - Pat Benatar, Madonna, Bryan Adams, Def Leppard, Bonnie Tyler, Heart, and all those one-hit-wonders who's name you can't remember yet you somehow know all the words to the songs. Let's not forget: JOURNEY!!!, Fleetwood Mac, Aimee Mann, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morrissette, Colin Hay, Cold Play, John Mayer, Damien Rice, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Indigo Girls, Carole King, James Taylor, Bon Jovi, Gypsy Kings, Amos Lee, Justin Young, Nina Persson, James Blunt, Rosie Thomas, Joanie Leeds and Catherine Satterwhite... There are plenty more artists I'm forgetting...
Introduce me to someone new!
I listen to just about anything including acoustic, folk, country, pop, hard rock, musical theatre (both standard & contemporary), classical, italian art songs, ...
The Wizard of Oz, Pretty Woman, Ever After, Casablanca, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sabrina (the original!), Lord of the Rings, 50 First Dates, Amelie, American Beauty, Boys Don't Cry, Secretary, Finding Neverland, All About Eve, March of the Penguins, Grumpy Old Men, Legally Blonde, In the Bedroom, Shawshank Redemption, Love Actually. Have you seen Waitress, yet?? If not, then run to the theatre!!!
The list could go on and on...Just use caution when taking me to see a comedy, I tend to laugh uncontrollably at times.
I don't do anything scary!!
I mostly watch tv just to keep myself company. But I love Alias, Sex & the City, Friends, America's Funniest Home Videos makes me cry from laughing (especially the clips of people falling!), Ellen is another staple along with Shear Genius, Project Runway and Top Chef. Then again, if I had cable I'd want to watch Animal Planet or the Food Network 24/7.
You've got to read Kent Haruf - he's just incredible, and ever so simple. I really enjoy John Irving, Pat Conroy, Shel Silverstein and Dr. Seuss. "She's Come Undone" and "A Prayer for Owen Meany" I've read numerous times. All of Brian Weiss's books have completely changed my life - "Many Lives, Many Masters" should be required reading for anyone who is literate. Just finished The Celestine Prophecy and I'm trying hard to see the beauty all around me every waking moment.
Still thinking...
