I heard a great line once in a David Gray song: "Your soul is the one thing you can't compromise". That is so true, and if you try, you will feel out of place in your own life. Another lyric that speaks the truth comes from Bryan Adams: "We're always on the run these days, we hardly have the time to say, what matters most of all". I wish we all could slow down a bit and enjoy these things that matter most of all, not jobs, not money, not any of these selfish things we all cling on to. My family, my friends, I appreciate and adore you all, lets all make this life a great one! Lets laugh til we have to catch our breath, cut loose, and our hearts and minds be surrounded by the things we share.
These days (musically), I am the Worship Pastor at Carlinville Southern Baptist Church, where he leads praise teams and congregations in worshiping God through song. "I'm very thankful for all the opportunities and support I have received, I love working in ministry, where you can really feel what you're doing is more purpose-driven. I thank God for providing me with a way and/or path to give the talents he gave me back to Him." Also, I'm playing in the cover band "Miles Station" and writing original material when I can.
