I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I work for a food manufacturer. I'm one of the lucky few who enjoys my job and the people I work with. I have one daughter who I love more than ANYTHING else in the world! I pray every night that she's always happy, healthly and secure. I also love and I'm grateful for my two special "daughters", Allyson and Katherine. I have 3 spoiled cats (Tigger, Melissa & Phoebe)and 1 very spoiled grand dog (Rebel). My cat Toots passed away from kidney failure on 5/7/07 and I miss her so much. She was so sweet & always by my side. I'll always love her. I'm very independent. I wish I had more patience and I know I really need to work on that. I regret the mistakes that I made when I was younger, but I can honestly say that I've never intentionally hurt anyone. I believe in quality, not quantity when it comes to friends and most everything else. I love to travel and want to return to the Caribbean and to Key West. My dream vacation is two weeks in Ireland, with no budget! I was lucky enough to grow up in the country and I really miss it! Sometimes I can be a real tomboy. My Dad and my uncle ran moonshine in the 50's and one day I'm going to write a story about it, because it was a very interesting time and circumstance. They can be a little rough on the exterior, but they're pretty cool for two old guys and I love them. ************************************************************ *********************************************** I really like: animals, Hydrangras and Wisteria, cake, sleeping late,VHS Class of '85, sleeping outside, my first cup of coffee in the morning, flip flops, The Three Stooges, collecting cookbooks, antiques, daylight savings time, pretty sundresses, Tangier Island, Diet Dr Pepper, fishing and crabbing, looking at old family photos, watching scary movies with my daughter, Autumn, Water County, Freightliners, Victorian and Civil War Era clothing, American Indian culture, log cabins, snorkeling-eventhough I can't swim, campfires and a snow so heavy that they close work (this rarely happens) and the unusual quiet in the morning, after the heavy snowfall. ************************************************************ *********************************************** I really DON'T like: people who mistreat animals, pedophiles, spiders, people who never say, "Thank You", pantyhose, drugs, people who are too lazy to work, waiting in line, stoplights, Wal-Mart on Saturdays, my cable bill, drivers who bust their asses to pull out in front of you, then putt down the road, telemarketers, having to "Press 1 for English", Ex's who use their children to get back at the other Ex, wimps, bullies, politics, debt, humidity, dirty houses and the "I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up!" commercial--in fact..most commercials.
