................. Mountain Bikes by ..... Shooting sports (I like watching stuff explode and disappear)I like Dragons. They do not have to be portrayed as Evil. That is a perception and they mean many things to many people. Just because I like them it doesn't mean I have a dark side. While I might work in the Dark side, I always make it back to the light. If Dragons are "mythical" creatures, why did every ancient civilization, unknown to each other, depict them in similar stories and carvings of similar images?"Most wisdom does not arise from intellect, but rather from experience and the ability to recognize the world around you for what it is, rather than what you wish it to be." ~Phil Messina~Who am I? ..... I'm a Father. I'm a Son. I am a Brother yet I have no siblings. I'm a loyal friend yet I can be a lethal adversary. I'm a shoulder to cry on. I'm an old soul, my body is worn but my heart is young. I'm a survivor. I'm strong and I'm weak. I'm proud. I'm ashamed. I am arrogant, but humble. I am rough, but gentle. I'm battered and bruised but in one piece. I'm alive. I'm living. I am amazing to some, dark to others. I'm vulnerable and guarded. I'm insecure, yet I'm confident. I'm open to some, closed to most. I'm honest. I’ve been broken but I'm mended. I'm eccentric. I'm extraordinary. I want everything but I expect nothing. I'm short-tempered and level-headed. I'm aggressive and confrontational. I'm combative yet passive. I'm understanding. I'm compromising. I'm encouraging. I'm loyal. I'm loved and I'm hated. I'm a S.O.B to some and emulated by others. I can be the man of someone’s dreams and worst nightmare to others. I am naieve but wise. I can be everything you want or need me to be. I am a patient man but I have no time for games. Life is too short, especially for me. I have already lived more than half my life so I will waste no more of it. While my life is full of contradictions, I am straight forward, I don't keep score, I am me. I'm one of a kind."Knowledge of our own mortality is the greatest gift God can give us, because unless you know the clock is ticking, it is so easy to waste our days, our lives." ~~ Anna Quindlen"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster."- Friedrich NietzscheA man has only one escape from his old self - to see a different self in the mirror of some woman's eyes. There is a true, deep sense of Peace, that comes with the knowledge that you are willing to make a stand for your principles. This is the begining of making your on destiny. That which does not kill me had better run pretty damn fast!
Since this is my page, it is about me. It will always be a work in progress as I add/change something almost every day. Since I am all about my friends, you will see some of them as well. Make no assumptions about me. Just because someone is in a picture with me, it doesn't mean we're an item. If you want to know something about me, all you have to do is ask. I am glad you visited my page and I hope you find it interesting and that maybe we have something in common, but if you do not, know that you do not have to return. I am a real person and I am not a conformist. I do not fit into specific molds or sterotypes. If you ask me for my opinion, be prepared for the answer. There are a couple of things I would like to mention. FIRST, I ain't into webcams, cyber-sex, nude galleries and all that shit. If that is all you have to offer, get the hell off my page. SECOND, I don't add people to my friends list just to build numbers. I believe in quality, not quantity. I would like to have folks who have some of the same interest as I do. I will try to return everyone's messages in a timely manner and I expect the same in return. THIRD, I do not believe in the so called "fairytale love". It is called that for a reason. That is not being pessimistic, just factual as I see it. I am in search of friends, real friends. No fakes, no posers, but people with similar interests to share experiences of life, especially riding motorcycles.I do hope along the path that I meet a special woman. One who loves motorcycles and enjoys riding as much as I do. Whether she rides her on or behind me, doesn't matter. What she rides ..... doesn't matter. She, of course will be my first passion, the bike comes next. I would like to find a woman who is not afraid to express herself, one who is not totally dependant, one who will accept me the way I am, what I do and the way I have to work. One who will be as dedicated and supportive to me as I am her. Hard work, honesty and integrity are the keys. I do not want a woman that walks behind me, nor in front of me. I would like her to walk beside me until there is no life left. If we connect, we must know that our hearts are safe even when we are apart. I have this dream of long rides across the country. My lady with me. At the end of a long day's ride, we will be under the moon, on a beach, beside a stream or lake. And there will be a fire, and passion, and sleep. I am looking for a lady that is strong, has no fears from the past, but has learned from it, one who will let me make my own mistakes and not judge me by what others have done. I want a lady who is ready to face the future, the world and stand, back to back with me and take on all that life has to dish out, for if we are a team, we cannot be defeated. ............................................................

I have interest in many genres, including Native American and Celtic. I use music to relate to life experiences, reflections of the past, and express my mood. I may play a song here for a special someone, or to relay a message to a friend. I may play it just because I like it. My music here will change frequently."Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."The wisest decisions are often the ones We suffer the most for. Self-contentment comes only to those who are willing to suffer."I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again". ~Ettiene De Grellet (1773 to 1855)"Tears of a Dragon" by Lady Tiffany HrachDragon's eyes, Gold and bright, Shining out Into the night. Fire rising Through the mist, Lighted by The sun's first kiss.People fleeing, Full of terror, Except one girl With golden hair.Brave is she, Strong and bold. Never bound To any hold.Scales of green and gold, Glittering blue In the morn, Shining through."Brave are you, Not to fear me." says he. "I will not harm you You may go free."His golden tears Fell all around. Dripping softly to the ground."Why do you cry, Oh Dragon sir," The maiden asked To be quite sure."Oh, maiden, You do not need To know the problems Of this weed.""But, oh, sweet dragon, " She touched his nose, "where there are weeds, A flower grows.""Ah, but maiden," He gazed from above. "When I looked at you, I fell in love."
"The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers"God does not subtract, from man's alloted time on Earth, that time which is spent on a motorcycle.I am a Free Rider. I claim no membership with gangs or clubs, nor do I follow anyone's rules but my own. I ride with groups of motorcycle enthusiasts and follow only the rules of the road as we set that day. I fly no one's colors but the red, white and blue.
"This world offers only two vantage points from which to live your life; the Arena or the Stands. Life is relatively safe in the Stands. Not so in the Arena. You can see more in the Stands but experience more in the Arena. There is one thing that can be found in the Arena that can never be found in the Stands; A life worth living." ~Phil Messina~A journey of a thousand miles begins with a simple, single step."Being a predator isn't always comfortable, but the only other option is to be the prey. That is not an acceptable option!
All of those who have paid the ultimate price in service to others and in what they believe in. ..... All foreign and domestic Warriors. ..... My Dad, for his service to his Country, his gallant, but lost, battle with cancer and, in his own strange way, who made me who and what I am today. ..... My Mom, who has never given up and continues to be the glue trying to hold everything together. The one woman who has never turned her back on anyone for any reason, and taught an old Warrior that it is okay to have and show feelings and emotions. .....Those seemingly ordinary, but special people, who have the courage to fight adversities in life, whether they are physical or emotional ailments, addictions, circumstances, a run of bad luck or just seems to have been dealt a bad hand of poker in the game we call Life. Those who never give up, never settle for less. Those who keep reaching for happiness and following their dreams. To those who have not let life's bad experiences break you down, I salute You!_____Always remember ..... Courage is what fear becomes after you've said your prayers. The Thin Blue LineSurvival is the name of the game. The only thing is ..... it is NOT a game! The Greeks did not write obituaries. They only asked one question after a man died: "Did he have passion?""The Warrior values his life so highly that he is willing to give it up.St Michael, Patron Saint of Law Enforcement"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings, which thinks that nothing is worth war, is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." ~John Stuart Mill~
