About Me

I play music, sing songs, act in stuff, make films, pretty much anything to avoid having to do hard labor for a living. I grew up in San Francisco and went to college at Humboldt State on the far Northern California coast. Always been in bands of one sort or another. My third band, Cal Hollow, was signed to Jericho/Sire Records and did very well for a few years until the label went under. While there, we recorded an album in LA with John Porter as producer. He's the guy behind most of the Smiths albums, the Alarm, and later on Keb Mo', Bonnie Raitt and several other great blues artists. I moved to Las Vegas, then Nashville, and landed in Chicago, where I joined up with the Katie Todd Band playing guitar and started the solo career in earnest. Now it's on to Portland, Oregon with my way-too-hot fiance Katie R. to continue making records and help get the most kickinest country band in the West, The Concrete Cowboys, on the map... I also play racquetball.
