Lewis, Irresistable Revolution by Shane Claiborne,Girl Meets God by Lauren Winner, The Plot Against America by Philip Roth, The Sound and the Fury by Faulkner (yes, I'm still trying to trudge through. Its boring as hell but its supposed to be a classic), Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. Other than that, I like anything by Joyce, Salinger, T.C. Boyle or Vonnegut, Philip Roth has his moments too. John Kennedy Toole's "A Confederacy of Dunces" is better than you.
