Our mission is simple, let others know that high quality music is still thriving in our charming town.Morningbell has established itself as one of Gainesville's most entertaining acts and has become a staple in the Florida music scene. Notably, the band has recorded, mixed, and produced all of its albums in what has become the Morningbell Sound Experimentorium. Michael Claytor and his Friends are one of Gainesville's best kept secrets. With their blend of Americana, Folk, and Bluegrass, the trio's Wednesday night residency in the back room of Flaco's Cuban Bakery has become a midweek staple for an assortment of friends and guest musicians. Orange will be helping to promote their first full length album this spring.
Copperhead Chris and the Snake Charmers is Whiskey-Soaked, Honkey-Tonked, Southern-Fried Alt-Country Music headed by local legend Chris Hillman. Sit back, grab a drink or 7, and ease your troubles away with the soothing sounds of the Snake CharmersInuit Jargon released their first official full length album and the followup Christmas Album on Orange Records in 2006. They cleverly combine humor, ingenuity, and an abundance of creativity to produce a product that doesn't grow old after a few listens. Before breaking up in mid 2008, the group recorded their swan song, "Pony!" and will remain one of the most memorable local-musical highlights of the past 10 years.
The Good Land is made up of Collin Whitlock, former co-frontman of Maxwell Edison. Collin brings his well known Piano songwriting style and adds an unexpected element of acoustic guitar playing.
...and This Is My Odyssey is Gainesville's own Mad Scientist dance/indie rock/hypno creation. Led by Marc Vanderlaan's Frankenstein bass/keyboard and haunting lead vocals, Odyssey pulses with the rhythm of 10,000 Gloria Estefans.
