Born and raised on the streets of North Philly. Phil Blanco fell inlove with music at a early age. He was born to a mother who favorite past time was sitting back relaxing with friends while listening to Rick James,Kurtis Blow,Run Dmc , ,Biz Markie,The Juice Crew,Big Daddy Kane and long list of other Ol School greats. It was destiny that he would also grow and learn to appreciate the culture we all know as HIP HOP. The very culture help raise him and taught him what was going on around him when his father was not there to. At age 6 he wrote his first rhyme after listening to his LL Cool J album he received on X-mas of "86" From this point on his life would forever change. He ate,sleep and breathed hip hop from break dancing to Graffiti..If it was something to do with hip hop or soul music in general, he was on it. As time went on he realized that his talent was a gift from god and that he should really take it more serious. With the help of Producer Extrodinaire Don Cannon he recorded his first demo summer of "99" titled " Live from the 2-1-5" It gained him alot of street buzz with no commercial or radio help. Unfortnately like most young males growing up in the inner city, he ventured into the street life and paid the price with his freedom,time and money. Now five years later he is back in the lab and ready to take the game by storm. With time on his hands he taught himself how to create beats and produced majority of his new Demo titled " Da Calm Before the Storm" With such hits as "LIKE MY STYLE" ,the street banger " YALL NIGGAS FUNNY" , "PRAY FOR MY DOWNFALL feat Oak Nasty" and the smooth laid back "GEE'S and HUSTLA'S"
Now he's back fresh from his trip to ATL with His right hand TONE DA GREAT
garnishing a brand new flava that will surley help wake up the sleepers on real hip-hop.
