I love the Lord!!!! I am the wife of 1, the mother of 4 (3 from me) the sister of 4 and a friend of many. My childhood years were spent in the dirty city top of Ohio, Cleveland. Lakeview Terrace Housing Project...Spruce Court. Gooooo Cleveland.
My project experience wasn't like most, I loved living in the projects...we had the best childhood. Days of playing kick ball, dodge ball, roller skating down the hill...remember playing hide and go seek and playing in the flats on the railroad tracks. Being poor had its pluses, we had to depend on each other to share so we all could have fun. Someone had the ball, another the bats and gloves we all got together and played until the street lights came on.I was part of the first graduating class of Law and Public Service, ran track at MLK under Mr. Sharkey, ran the halls, walked downtown and hung out with Anisa and Reggie, stole kisses from Cotton!!!My parents divorced and I moved to Three Rivers, yuck!!! I guess it wasnt all that bad, I met my husband and after 15 years of marriage we are still doing our thing. In 1987 I new Christ was real and that He knew me and loved me. I made a confession of faith in April of that year. I still did much dirt until my then boyfriend got tired of hearing me put off marriage. I finally accepted his proposal of marriage and something in me knew that the only way to have a good marriage is to get to know this God that I had accepted. In 1992, I started desiring to know God and live for him. In 1994 I began a journey with MMS of Virgina (ENC) a church that taught me how to seek God and establish a real relationship with Him. I was a part of that church until 2004 after moving to Alabama. My family and I have to to love the area of Alabama that we live in and is part of a wonderful local church. Thanks for learning about me, I hope you enjoy my writings.Bless God
