Cosmic Journey by Solange
Influences: I've been influenced by classic jazz, gospel, pop, r & b, rock, country, etc. I pull from a variety of artists and all genres of music. Vocally, I love Ella Fitzgerald, Beyoncé Knowles, and Kim Burrell. Choreography wise---Janet Jackson's technique, detail, control, and stage presence are like no other. I love Omarion's and Ciara's dance styles too. My biggest influence---my mother, Diana Miller of Derek and Diana---a gospel duo. Jonathan Miller, aka, YPJ, aka, my big brother, is also a big influence on my music style. He is the best producer ever. His ear for vocal arranging, musical arranging, and pitch and tone is out of control. He has made me really focus in on the details. If I'm a perfectionist in the studio, it's his fault:-) My big brother Million, my sister Tarrah, my dad...the greatest pastor and father in the world!
